Getting started

Prepare the files. Place the order.

Use this page as the checklist before you buy. Choose the service, pay through Stripe, then upload your files in the Audion portal so the project can move without extra back-and-forth.

The path

Order first. Upload right after.

  1. Choose the service and quantity.Use Pricing for a single track, an EP, an album, or a larger mix project. Quantity covers multiple songs under the same service.
  2. Checkout with the email you want on the project.Stripe handles payment. Audion creates the project room behind the scenes using that email.
  3. Upload files in the portal.Direct upload is preferred. Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or similar links are still available inside the project room.
  4. Download finished masters from your account.Finished masters stay in your Audion account. Working files are retained for one year after delivery unless otherwise agreed.

Prepare by order type

Match the upload to what you are buying.

Professional Mastering

For a finished stereo mix that only needs mastering.

  • Send one stereo pre-master per song.
  • WAV or AIFF, 24-bit / 44.1 kHz or higher.
  • Bounce with the loudest peak at -3dB.
  • No clipping anywhere in the file.
  • Keep mix processing on if it is part of the sound, but leave the master/summing bus clear of limiters or loudness processing.
  • Add a reference track or notes if there is a target.

8-Track Pro Mix and Master

For compact sessions with up to 8 stems or tracks.

  • Send the rough mix or pre-master for context.
  • Export up to 8 stems from the same start point.
  • Keep kick and bass/sub separate.
  • Label every stem clearly: drums, bass, vocal, synth, FX, and so on.
  • If the project needs more than 8 stems, choose Classic instead.

Classic Mix and Master

For detailed productions with up to 20 stems.

  • Send the rough mix or pre-master for reference.
  • Export up to 20 stems from the same start point.
  • Group drums, percussion, hats, bass, synths, vocals, and FX by family.
  • Keep reverb sends and returns on separate stems.
  • If grouping is messy, bounce each stem individually and label it clearly.

Rolls Royce Mix and Master

For complex sessions with unlimited stems.

  • Send the full stem export from the same start point.
  • Include the rough mix or pre-master for creative context.
  • Separate dry vocals, wet vocals, FX returns, and references.
  • Add notes for release goals, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Use this option when the record needs deeper mix treatment, not just level and polish.

After checkout

The portal keeps the job moving.

Your project room holds the upload, notes, status, and final delivery in one place. Audion reviews the files, starts the work, and posts finished masters back to the same account when they are ready. Payment must be made in advance before Audion begins work. Most mastering projects are typically completed in 2–5 business days after payment and complete files. Mix-and-master timing depends on scope and queue.
